There are a few restrictions when working with the time reporting (TR) journal in the attesting routine:
- Group order reporting is not available.
- Start or stop of the ongoing action is not automatically created when clocking in or out.
- When changing records only date, time and time code can be changed.
Note: The fields referring to project activities, cost centres, manufacturing orders, work centres and consolidated orders cannot be changed. However, these fields can be completed when you add new time transactions to the journal.
- When removing a start the corresponding stop is also removed.
The reason for these restrictions when maintaining start and stop records is that the duration is calculated when stop is entered and a transaction to the manufacturing or project system is immediately created. If the system is set up for immediate update of the manufacturing or project system the transactions are also sent to the receiving system. When changes have been made to a start or stop record a new transaction is created.
To correct an error that occurred while clocking out, i.e. the time for clocking out is missing, do as follows:
- Select the Work with attesting menu item.
- On the Work with attesting, Select attest group panel, select the attest group for which you want to maintain the TR journal and click TR journal.
- You access Work with attesting, Time reporting journal status showing the errors that exist for the selected attest group. Select the employee and date for which you want to view details and click Details.
- You access Work with attesting, Time reporting journal showing the journal of the selected employee and the details. Click Add to add the clocking out.
- You access Clocking maintenance. This panel is displayed when you add a new time transaction to the TR journal. The following fields are relevant:
- Time
- Enter the time you clock out.
- Type
- Enter the type of time. Enter 2 for clocking out.
See the Panel help for information about the remaining fields. Click OK to update. Exit the routine.
