    Complete the following fields:

    Group order type
Enter a code from the Manufacturing group order type table.
    Warehouse
Enter the warehouse where the manufacturing orders connected to the group order will be produced.

If the STKOWNER (Stock Ownership) function is activated in the Function control file, the warehouse entered must be classified as a normal or trade (logical) warehouse (i.e. the Warehouse characteristic flag in Work with warehouses must be set to 1 (normal) or 2 (trade). See About the stock ownership functionality for more information.

    Order type
Enter a code indicating the manufacturing order type to be used for this group order. Only manufacturing orders with this order type can be connected to the group order.

Enter a date indicating when the group order is planned to be started.
    Completion date
Enter a date indicating when the group order is planned to be ready.

See the Panel help for information about the remaining fields.

Click OK. The system updates the new group order and clears the panel. Exit the routine.

The next step is to add manufacturing orders to the group order. See Add manufacturing orders to a manufacturing group order for instructions.
