Prerequisites
You can only confirm bank payment for an updated proposal.
- Select the Work with A/R portfolio remittance menu item.
- On the A/R portfolio proposal – overview panel, select the applicable updated proposal.
- You access A/R portfolio proposal – activities. Tick Confirm bank payment and click OK.
- You access A/R portfolio proposal – confirm payment. You confirm payments for one bank at a time. Enter the following information:
- Bank
- Accounting period
- Voucher date
- Voucher type
- You access A/R portfolio proposal – confirm payment. Mark the confirmed payments and click Update to only update those selected, or click Confirm all to confirm all payments. Use Cancel all confirm if you change your mind.
Click OK.
Repeat for all banks in the proposal, and submit the proposal for update. The system will inform you when it has updated the proposal.
What happens at update?
This depends on the following parameters of the portfolio type:
Consolidated closing | |
NO | The portfolio documents will receive status 2 (payment confirmed) upon update. Closing will be performed via a separate menu item, Close A/R portfolio. (See Close a bill by expiration.) |
YES | The portfolio documents will receive status 3 (closed) upon update. |
Automatic settlement | |
YES | A payment transaction, to the A/R, will automatically be created at confirmation. The portfolio documents will receive status 3, paid, if Consolidated closing is set to NO. |
NO | You must settle the document in the manual entry routine for A/R. |
