The related topics for this area describe:
- how to attest a purchase order before exiting the order
- how to release an order held because it has not been attested
- how to release an order held because of limit control. The buyer who entered the order is allowed to purchase for a specific amount of money, and the purchase order value is greater than this amount.
Attest control
In the Purchase order type table the order type can be defined as having attest control. This means that the purchase order has to be attested in order to continue processing it. If it is not attested, the order will be held. For information about who is allowed to release the order, see Release a purchase order which has not been attested.
Limit control
In the Purchase order type table the order type can be defined as having limit control. This means that the system performs a check if the buyer is authorised to purchase up to the amount on the order. If not, the order will be held from further processing. For information about who is allowed to release the order, see Handle purchase orders held because of limit control.
How to use the functions
If you want to achieve maximum control of the purchase routines in the company, activate both Attest and Limit control. Taking it one step further, you can implement Authority control on the handler, thereby prohibiting users from changing the handler on the purchase order header.
