The report settings determine, for example:
- How the system will behave when you perform certain functions during the viewing of the reports. Such behaviour includes opening separate windows when drilling down to subordinate information, or having the information displayed in the same window.
- The number settings for values including, for example: number of decimals for values and percentages, edit policy for values, etc.
- The visual settings for columns, allowing you to draw attention to critical information in a report, regardless of what sorting has been done.
- The default graphics format when viewing the information graphically.
Note: You can define these settings to be valid for all reports or a specific report and can define/change these settings both before the report is created and after.
