When creating reports you have the option to create:
- One specific report, which is done via the Manage PA definitions menu item, or
- Several reports simultaneously which is done via the Create PA report menu item. With this option you can select from:
- All existing PA report definitions, or
- Those to be updated on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly basis. The Preferred update frequency was defined on the Definition page when you were building the reports.
The following describes how to do it via the Create PA reports menu item.
- Select the Create PA report menu item.
- Complete the information in the following fields:
- Select definition
- Click the applicable category to retrieve the list of PA report definitions.
Definition Description Selected This is the default which displays all existing PA report definitions. Daily Displays all PA report definitions, if any, that are to be updated on a Daily basis. Weekly Displays all PA report definitions, if any, that are to be updated on a Weekly basis. Monthly Displays all PA report definitions, if any, that are to be updated on a Monthly basis. Yearly Displays all PA report definitions, if any, that are to be updated on a Yearly basis. - Comment
- Optional entry. Enter any text of your choice.
- Current period
- This is only available if one or more of the selected definitions use relative from or to period values. Displays the current Year and Period. Leave as is or click the arrow beside each to select another.
- Run mode
- Select the mode, Batch or Interactive, in which you want to create the report.
- If you select Batch, you will receive a message on the backend (5250 screen) when the report has been created.
- If you select Interactive, define (by putting a checkmark in the box) if you want to Display the analysis after creation.
Click Create to create the report(s).
