Service location maintenance (SOR00603)
This file is used to store address information regarding the location of an object by a customer when the location address differs from the customer’s ordinary delivery address. A location can be common for several objects.
A service location can be referred to from the Service object file or from the Delivery address panel in the Work with service orders program.
A service location can also be connected to a service agreement. When an agreement is connected to a location, all objects that exist in that location will be connected to the agreement. The values from the agreement type are added to the object conditions and the Object history file is updated. When an object is then added to a service order, the agreement is activated on the order.
Note: If the location information is removed from an object, the object is not removed from the agreement. This must be manually handled.
