Manufacturing order enquiry, Product costing (PRO002Q)

This panel displays product and actual costs for a manufacturing order. The panel can be viewed in two modes; Totals view (total cost per element) and Per unit view (cost per unit).

The code indicates the status of the manufacturing order.

The sum of planned order quantity and divergent quantity.
Prod quant
The produced quantity.
Diff
The difference between order quantity and produced quantity.
Recept amt
The manufacturing order reception amount. How the reception amount is calculated depends on the cost type defined in the DIS control file or in the Item file:

  • If the cost type is 1 (Average cost), the manufacturing order product costing value/unit is used in the calculation.
  • If the cost type is 2 (Standard cost), the standard cost price defined in the Item file (item or warehouse level) is used in the calculation.
  • If the cost type is 3 (FIFO), the manufacturing order product costing value/unit is used in the calculation.
WIP diff
The difference between the cost control amount and the reception amount.
Description
The element description for the corresponding element line. The element line is defined in the active cost model, defined in the MFG control file.
Product costing
The calculated product costing amount for each element line. Calculations are based up on equations defined for each element line in the cost model. When in unit mode, displays the calculated amount per unit.
Cost control
The calculated cost control amount for each element line. Calculations are based up on equations defined for each element line in the cost model. When in unit mode, displays the cost control amount per unit.
Difference
The difference in amount, between product costing and cost control amount. When in unit mode, displays the difference between product costing and cost control amount per unit.
