The purpose of this program is to get an overview of all included material and costs for an item. You can also display details for sub-assembly items.
Options
| Next level | Select this option to view the product costing on a lower level. Note: This is only valid for items with item type 1 or 2. |
| Equations | Select this option to view performed equations and values for an item. |
Function keys
| Re-calculate | Re-calculate the product costing. Note: This is mandatory if new material has been added or if existing material lines have been changed. |
| Operations | View the operations that are connected to the parent item. |
| Prev level | Only used if you are viewing lower levels. Return to the previous level. |
Selection fields
- Item
- Calc date
- The date indicates when the right prices and overhead were retrieved.
- Cost model
- The cost model id used for product costing.
- It cost type
- The item cost type indicates from where the component prices have been retrieved during the product costing calculation.
Code Description 1 Average cost 2 Standard cost 3 FIFO 4 Simulation cost
- Std quant PC
- The quantity in stock unit that the product costing is based on.
- Struct quant
- The quantity on which the structure is based. This field is displayed with three decimals.
- Variant
- Warehouse
- Struct unit
- Seq no
- Component item
- The item that is included as a component in the bill of material.
- Quantity
- The quantity in stock unit, displayed in up to 3 decimals, of components included in the bill of material.
- Set-up quantity
- The fixed set-up quantity for materials. This set-up quantity can be deemed as an estimated reservation that you plan on consuming for the machine set-up before real production, and is independent of the order’s quantity. When manufacturing orders are entered, the components required quantity is calculated as follows: order quantity x component quantity + fixed set-up quantity.
Example:
Fixed set-up quantity = 10
Order quantity = 5
Component quantity = 1
Component required quantity = 15
- Line amount
- The calculated cost for a component item presented in system currency for one parent item unit.
- C
- Indicates if the component item has been changed, either via the Change option or by adding a new component item line.
