This routine executes the batch job that checks which jobs need to be run in the IBS Inventory Control system for the current forecast period. It should be run once every day. After this routine is executed, the jobs that need to be run are displayed in the Job schedule file. There are five possible jobs that can appear in the Job schedule file, if IBS Supply plan is installed and activated. They are:
- Inventory calculations (forecast, EOQ, SST, ROP)
- Purchase suggestion, type 2
- Purchase suggestion, type 3
- Average stock level
- SP calculation
If SP is not activated, the SP calculation will not appear in the Job schedule file.
Note: This program does not start the jobs above automatically. It signals that a job should be executed by creating records in the Job schedule file. Each record tells you that a certain job needs to be run.
Click OK to execute the routine in batch. Press F2 to execute the routine interactively. Note: If the Interactive process field for your user profile is set to NO, then you cannot execute this routine interactively.
